Home Inspection FAQ
WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?
A Home Inspection is a thorough, unbiased, in-depth visual inspection of the structure and operating components of the home, performed to provide a better understanding of the conditions of the property. It is an objective, third party review meant to identify major deficiencies, items that would be costly to repair, and items that pose safety or fire hazard. Inspections protect both the buyer and seller against hidden costs and helps all parties avoid surprises and delays.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
We advise our clients to participate in the inspection process. When you attend, you can ask questions and voice any concerns you may have about the property. Your Realtor may want to attend, and is always welcome.
WHEN IS THE INSPECTION?
We strive to inspect your property within 72 hours of your call to our office. Most inspections take 2-3 hours to complete. You will need to make sure that all utilities to the property are on, so that we may inspect all the accessible components of the inspection.
